A kitchen you would love taken off your list. A favorite piece you prefer left alone. A room you need to keep quiet while you work. Those details are worth sharing before a cleaning visit.
I’m Angela, owner of Sanderling Cleaning Company in Fort Pierce. A useful cleaning plan starts with understanding your home and what matters to you. A short conversation can help us agree on the work, protect your preferences and make the visit easier to arrange.
Start with your priority
You do not need a perfect list. Name the area or task where help would make the biggest difference, then mention anything you would like us to leave alone. For example: “The kitchen surfaces are my priority, and please leave the papers on my desk where they are.”
A priority helps guide the conversation; it does not automatically add work to your appointment. We will agree on the cleaning and price before I begin. If something outside that agreement needs attention, we will discuss it before changing the plan.
Give personal belongings a comfortable place
Private papers, jewelry and small keepsakes are easier to keep separate from the cleaning when they have a place you choose. If you can, put them somewhere you are comfortable with before the visit.
You can also point out a shelf, drawer or item you do not want touched. If clearing a surface or moving something is difficult, tell me what is in the way so we can discuss a workable approach. There is no need to turn preparation into another large project.
Mention the details a cleaner cannot see
A finish may look ordinary and still need particular care. Let me know about natural stone, a delicate finish, manufacturer care instructions or a product you prefer. Knowing the material matters more than choosing a product by its scent.
Your household routine matters, too. A work call, a pet’s usual resting place or a preferred way to receive updates can affect the plan. You are welcome to raise those needs when we talk, so we can agree on what is practical for the visit.
If you will be away
No-contact cleaning is an option. Before the appointment, we can agree on access, pets, communication, payment and locking up. Share access details privately rather than in a public comment or social post.
